In the first step, I used a dark blue background as it links to the company's colours they use on their logo, and using their colours will suit the whole advert as it won't colour clash with anything else that I'm going to put on this advert and it really appears well to the audience as I asked for some feedback on if I should use this colour background and they said it works really well with the stuff I am promoting on the advert.

In the second step, I added the logo and what it is called so people can get similar of what it looks like and what the company so if nobody shops or knows what this company does I've added it for recognition and I've made the company logo really big as it takes up a lot of space and so it clearly visible to the audience, I've also placed it in the middle so when the audience or anyone who see this will see the logo straight away as it is in the center.

In the third step, I added the company's slogan when you see or watch any company adverts they always sneak in their slogan so they can promote their company and it gives a brief understanding of what they do, so I added Lidl's official slogan as it will tie in well with the whole advert and I've also added some effects to it such as using colour overlay to make it white so it doesn't colour clash with the background because I wanted to make it stand out to people, Ive also added some stroke because when I used the eraser tool it had weird edges so using the store effect it make the edges more smoother and it makes the text stand out more.

In the fourth step, I added a picture of the fruit that Lidl sell at their shop and I'm trying to advertise healthy eating eating fruit and veg is a key part of eating healthy, and not a lot of people want to spend a lot of money to just buy healthy things and Lidl sells fruit for a very cheap price so it will help people who want to spend less, I did have to use the clone stamp toll on the fruit because there were random swirls on the image and to get rid and cover them up was using this tool and hopefully it's not very noticeable.

In the fifth step, I added 'Pick of the week' logo on there as doing research into the website they pick of the week with which the lower prices on a handful of foods so using this promotion on this advert will stand out to people as the prices of the food are pretty cheap and will intrigue the audience, the quality of the image isn't very good as there wasn't a better image of this so I had to crop it out of an advert lidl had with this promotion but when you see it from afar it looks perfect, I've angled the image so it stands out more because when I was getting the image off the promotion they angled it as well so it will only be necessary to keep it on an angle so it runs in suit the company.

In the last steps, I added the prices of the fruit that are actually real as I looked on the website and looked at each individual price of them all, I've tried to use the same font they use within all their adverts and shop magazines but I just found a similar font to them so it doesn't look too different from the adverts, and with the red boxes I saw that Lidl use red boxes to contain the price of the item so I used it on my advert to make it almost the same and so it looks like a normal Lidl advert in my magazine, I had to use a smaller font for the 'p' as looking and taking influence on Lidls own adverts they have a 'p' sign in a smaller font and have it arched on the top of the number so Ive used that affect on my own advert. I used a white font for everything so it stands out from the red boxes that I have placed behind the numbers.
