In the first step, Ive chose the coloured background to make it similar to the other recipe pages I have made and will have in my magazine, I've also added the title dead center on the page so it's the main focus on the page I also used the colour overlay effect on the text due to the fact that originally the text was black so it would've colour clashed with the background so using this effect has helped it to look visible.
In the second - fourth step, ive added how long it will take for the audience to cook this meal, the number of people it serves, and the difficulty of how hard it to cook this I've made the icons all the same size so they aren't different from each other and just out of place, I've made the font white so it runs in the suit with the title colour and so it doesn't colour clash with the background. the line is key so it separates the key information for the audience with the ingredients and method because it gives a modern look.

In the fifth step, I've added the ingredients I have placed on the left side so it's on the same side on all of the recipes so nothing is different, I have added the exact amount of each ingredient so the viewer doesn't have to second guess the amount they need and so its easier for them, I've made the font bigger as there isn't a lot of ingredients for this recipe so to make it more visible for the audience to read the amount they need.
In the sixth step, Ive added the method of how to create this masterpiece it is a pretty small method so I made it with a big font so it takes up most of the empty space on that side of the page, I also added a black line down the middle of the page so it separates the method with the ingredients list.

In the last step, I've just added the image of the meal that was on the website I found the whole recipe to give an insight of what it is supposed to look like, I've put the image in the left corner so it uses up the rest of the empty space.
